Tyler Cristobal is a creative mystic hailing from San Diego, California who double downs on design.
During the day, Cristobal is the lead designer at Hollis Brand Culture, a local powerhouse specializing in brand identity, environmental design, and interiors for some of the biggest brands in hospitality, lifestyle, and technology. When night falls Tyler becomes the equivalent of Batman in the graphic design industry, transforming his studio into a design laboratory and workshop.
Burning the midnight oil, Cristobal has crafted an array of labels, logos, and brand storytelling in a wide range of styles for countless brands including Home Brewing Company, Resident Brewing, Pariah Brewing, Pure Project, Original 40, Lost Cause Meadery, and Bottlecraft to name a few. His versatility as a designer and illustrator results in on-brand solutions for vastly different clients, with an impressive mastery of a wide range of tools, from clean typography and intricate vector work to rich textural collage and idiosyncratic illustration. Perhaps the most rewarding for us fans of beer and label design is when Cristobal's sense of humor is given some room to show through in his work. Lucky for us this tends to happen on the regular!
