Just steps from San Diego’s infamous 30th street craft beer pilgrimage, Home Brewing Co. and adjoining storefront, The Home Brewer, have both become staples for brewing supplies, know-how and general good times.
It all began about 7 years ago when I was approached by the home brewing legend, George Thornton. He wanted to create a resource center for the growing community of brewers in San Diego. One logo lead to a series of design projects and 3 years later the Home Brewing Co. tasting room was born.
The foundation of Home Brewing Co has been producing high quality nuanced beers, inspired by tradition, innovation and passion for what they love to drink. With the ability to produce lower quantity, shorter runs, the opportunity to experiment and collaborate with other local breweries has allowed the can artwork to be equally as unique to each of the beers. Every beer has a story to tell.
